Florence African Hair Braiding

Need my hair braided before my vacation. I normally travel to Bowie but decided to try this spot closer to home. I went in as a walk in and only waited about 10 minutes. Total chair time about 4 hours. When I say they have gained a new customer baby I will be back. I LOVE my hair. Very nice job done. Ms. Florence is very kind and really helps you through the process to make sure you get exactly what you want.

Went to have passion twist, which she said she could do. She did the twists by making little ponytails and sliding the hair through the ponytail. I immediately felt a little wary because I'd tried that technique at home and didn't like it because the rubber band showed but I thought maybe she knew something I didn't. She didn't. Not only did the bands show but my hair separated from the extended hair within three days. When I asked her to fix it, she blamed me by saying she didn't know what I could've done to make it that way. I paid $180 for a style that I had to fix myself.

I had my hair braided at Florence Hair Braiding. I had twists and it is so neat. None of the braids has fallen out. I have had so many compliments about my hair. The atmosphere is amazing. Called the shop to see about two butterfly braids last minute , ms Flo said text her a picture and she promptly responded saying she could see me bright and early the next morning which was perfect for my schedule, i was in and out and she perfected the style I asked for. Priced reasonably and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

Florence is fast, professional and talented. My "usual" braider was unable to rebraid my front and edges for an event, so I took a risk and googled local braiders. That's how I found Florence, who had only been open three days at the time. I texted her and she called me back. I arranged to stop by so she could see my hair. Most stylists probably wouldn't want to do only half a head, let alone work behind another braider, but that didn't bother Florence. We booked my appointment for the next evening. Not only did she refresh my style, she also removed my old braids AND provided new braiding hair. These are just your basic box braids, but I had more than a basic experience.
