Good afternoon Google Family. This is my first time patronizing this establishment and it is my last time. If I had read the negative reviews about this place before I visited yesterday, I would have never visited. I usually enjoy visiting beauty supply stores. I usually feel like a kid in a candy store. Most beauty supply stores are huge and always nicely arranged. When I arrived here, I received a strange vibe about this place. I asked the Asian lady if they had a trash can, since I had trash and I wanted to put it in the trash can. She told me to put it in the dust pan since she was sweeping. I’ve been to this beauty supply store a few times, and unfortunately, each visit has been uncomfortable. The prices are extremely high, much more than what you’d expect to pay for the same products across the street. What’s worse is the customer experience. I couldn’t shop in peace without being followed, watched, or rushed. It felt like I was being treated with suspicion from the moment I walked in. The way staff monitor customers either through the cameras or directly with their eyes makes it clear there’s a racial bias in how people are treated. It’s disappointing, especially in a place that sells products meant for our community. I don’t know how this place is still in business, because the lack of respect and fairness is enough to make anyone take their money elsewhere.

I decided to try this store out, and it started off as a friendly welcoming experience. When asked did I need help I accepted. The store assistant showed me an option of hair and when I asked for other options she accused me of being difficult, she said my energy was off for asking to see other options so she walked away. I was very respectful and patient. She dismissed me as a customer. My first and last time at the store. Unfortunately she is just a worker. But left me with a bad impression. So they will not be getting any further business from me.

Very offended by being seen as a thief the moment I walked through the doors. They follow you around and rush you out the store. At first asking if I needed help was polite but when I turned down their offer, it got worse. I had three staff watching me and following me around. So I decided to put their expensive items down and walk out the store. They began to attack because I didn't put their items back on the correct aisles, thinking that I had it and was going to steal it. They told me to "put the items back on the correct aisles." I told them that "they can do it themselves." I understand....people steal....but you can't assume that everyone will steal and is a thief.....I took my money and business to Walgreen where I found that the prices were $5.00 cheaper.

They are great! I have been going to them for over 9yrs. They always carry the best brands, a bit on the high end, but a couple of my girlfriends have shown envy for my hairs a few times😊. I really like them, thanks guys. And they're also very polite (husband and wife duo)👍👌
