Gem Salon Spa

Love love love her! It was my first time coming and the way she was just so comforting and kind, you don’t get that at every place you go to especially if it’s something new. I highly recommend! For reference, the first two pictures are my hair before and the third is my after.

I visited both Gem Salon and Jamie for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I recently relocated to Minnesota, so finding a new stylist can feel a little daunting. Jamie was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain what she was seeing with my hair and why she recommended certain changes. She gave me a haircut that made everything feel much more cohesive, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I also loved her energy and the overall vibe of the salon. I’m so glad I found her!

Jamie is an absolute delight! She is warm and personable and has TONS of experience working with hair. I have seen her twice now for curly cuts on my shoulder-length thick hair, and she gives it great shape and fun layering. We had fun conversations about our cats, Magic and D&D. I enjoyed the relaxing deep conditioning part as well. Highly recommend Jamie! I also love that they offer tea and coffee for an extra spa-like experience ☕

I am so happy with how the perm turned out! Jordan took the time to figure out exactly how I wanted it done and the end result is beyond expectation 😁 The vibe in the salon was very chill and welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was very hospitable and friendly. I was asked many times if there was anything I needed - like coffee/water - while I was there, which is appreciated. I will definitely be coming back!

The cut was precise, flattering, and easy to maintain, and the styling was polished without feeling overdone. The salon's atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, making the whole visit enjoyable from start to finish. Jamie’s professionalism, skill, and attention to detail truly stood out. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and very happy with the result.
