Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

Today was my first time getting my hair cut at Fantastic Sam’s in Brooklyn Center. My stylist, Tatianna, listened carefully to my haircut ideas and asked questions to clarify my vision. I was impressed with both her communication style and her skill. The overall visit was very worthy of five stars in my opinion. I had been a bit uncertain before trying a new place but couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. Thank you, Tatianna!

Not the location, it's the stylists! Randomly stopped in for a trim (layer/texture) for me and my teen daughter to get rid of dead, dried ends. Observed the stylists and they appeared to do well so we continued to wait for about 7 minutes. My daughter's stylist, Tae or Lae (sorry), did an exceptional job. Impressed. We've been elsewhere even, Asian salons, and this was the best turnout by far. Shaped my daughter's face very well. My stylist, Kira, got rid of my ends (appx. 2+ inches) which was my main goal. She created a slight "v" layer so it wasn't so blunt. I liked the fact she wasn't trying to over-cut or over-exaggerate the cut. $27.99 per person plus taxes and electronic card surcharge for debit/credit

I have had my daughters hair cut from the Brooklyn park location, but they are currently shut down atm, so I decided to take my daughter to the Brooklyn center location. I had to run an errand so her dad stayed with her. When I picked them back up, they had paid, and I thought it was odd that her hair was still damp. They usually blow dry and do a simple style, like straighten it. My daughter said she did blow dry it but it looked more like she towel dried it. Once her hair was dried and we were home, I saw the back of her hair, and was shocked! It looked like the lady cut her hair with dull scissors!!! There were long pieces and when I went to go pull it it just showed how choppy and uneven. The lady said she was going to give layers and a slight v cut, this was horrible. It looked so

So I went here because I use fantastic sams down in Texas and they're really great there. A guy named Tommy who supposedly has 15 years of experience said that he was comfortable giving me this cut. This guy offered no shampoo no styling and when I mentioned it he said that he didn't flat iron and he offered to shampoo my hair after he cut it. The manager did offer to try to fix it but honestly after that experience I just wasn't even comfortable with that either. The place really isn't that clean and it's kind of run down. Honestly my 8-year-old could have cut my hair better than the haircut I got here and I'm extremely disappointed.
