Defy Hair MPLS

Claire is the best! They have helped me keep my fantasy color while growing out long and strong hair. This new location is amazing. I am plus sized, and the seats are wide and comfortable for long services. There are a couple of parking spots in the lot off Garfield, but even the street parking was a lot closer too. I cannot recommend Defy Hair MPLS and Claire enough!

I’ve been going to Defy Hair MPLS for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things, especially about Hannah! She always cuts my hair and consistently does an amazing job. I leave every appointment feeling refreshed, confident, and like she really listened to what I wanted. Her attention to detail and skill make all the difference, and she’s also just a genuinely kind and easygoing person to be around. The salon itself is clean, stylish, and welcoming. Highly recommend both Defy Hair MPLS and Hannah if you’re looking for a stylist you can trust!

I’ve been going to Defy for years, and I genuinely can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. The team is not only insanely talented but also just really good people. They always take the time to listen, give thoughtful suggestions, and make sure I leave feeling like the best version of myself. Whether I’m doing something new or just maintaining, I know I’m in great hands. The space is beautiful, the energy is always good, and you can tell how much care goes into everything they do. Truly a salon that grows with you — I can’t recommend Defy enough.

Defy hair is hands down the best place to get your hair cut in the cites. I have been seeing Hannah for my hair for over a decade. She is for sure hands down the best stylist l have ever had for both cuts and color; and by color I mean if you request it she will make it happen no matter how bright or magenta you want it!!!! The folx at Defy go out of their way to make sure that their salon is a safe place for everyone especially for folx who identify as LGBTQIA+ and folx with disabilities!!!! Its rare to find a company or space thay will make sure that everyone in the community feels welcome and can access their services. I just love everyone over at Defy and if you are looking for a new salon totally check them out!!!!!!!
