The women who cut my hair did not seem licensed. She didn’t bother to even part my hair until after she cut it. At the end I told her the layers were literally in chunks and she said she forgot to thin it out. Once I got home I saw how badly she hacked my hair. I’m going to have to get a new hair cut and cut my hair three inches shorter than my natural hair. I could seriously cry. I do not recommend this place.

Took my daughter here, and they did an amazing job on her hair! The stylist was patient and skilled, making sure she was comfortable the whole time. The results were beautiful, and she loved it! Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality and service were worth it. Definitely a great place for kids’ hair too!

Great experience for my mom with Marina at Bella Lu salon (Cedar Ave in Minneapolis). Very patient with the my mom, good eyebrow wax too.

FRI 11/8/24 was my first visit going to Belle Lu Hair Salon. It will not be my last, and I could not recommend them more - 11/10 stars. I should’ve taken a photo of my hair when I walked in - pony tail, under a baseball cap, VERY knotted, so many split ends. My stylist had no judgement & took care of my scalp like the professional she is (which is also the one you want handling yours). I have thick, 2C wavy/curly hair. I always have a hard time finding hair stylists who can cut my hair without the “triangle effect” (curly-haired peoples know what I mean). I moved to The Cities in April 2023; in the past 19 months, have been to 6 different salons and I’ve FINALLY found the salon for me. Uploaded a video of my haircut with a caption that tried to make fun of me. They did all of this without any consent and when I asked her to take it down, the owner or stylist tried to gaslight me into saying it wasn’t a big deal. It took hours for her to delete the video of me. I hate the experience they made feel and would never go here.
