New to town and walked in hoping to get the bare minimum. Instead, I got Brett who was great, took me back immediately, and did a great job at a great price. 1 week later and I'm thrilled with how it's grown out. Huge relief to roll the dice on a new barber and have it turn out so great!

I'd been searching for a good barber in Minneapolis for a while before finding Brett at 225 Barbers about a year ago, and now I don't plan on getting my hair cut anywhere else. Brett takes care to talk with you first to understand what look you're going for, and then he nails the execution. I've tried a couple different styles and he's been spot-on every time, whether it's a short taper or going a bit longer. Great attention to detail and unbeatable value.

Had my hair cut by Brett. Nice guy, but if you care about having a precise cut or you have a particular style, then this isn’t the place for you. There is no real strategy to the way Brett cuts and feels a bit rushed the way he somewhat carelessly uses the clipper over comb without any clear direction, you will not get a good fade. I think Brett is best suited to an older person who just wants their hair cut, if you are below 40 and care about your hair, go elsewhere.
