Urban Natural Temple Hills

I was feeling a little raw after having cut off my sisterlocs after five years due breakage and losing locs. Michele not only brought back my confidence by cutting my hair beautifully, she offered service with a warm smile and infectious laugh. Today was a beautiful day and I owe that to Michele and her expertise and kindness.

Today was my first time at Urban Natural. My stylist was Michele, and she was super sweet. My hair looks really, really good! I will be back.

Jodie always does an amazing job! From her professionalism to her down to earth vibe. She always checks in and asks questions about my routine and can notice any differences with my hair. She got my locs back on track after I suffered damage from bleaching and stress. My hair is back to being thick and healthy. She is truly a master loctician! I’m always satisfied when I leave her chair.

I agree with others, customer service definitely lacks. My stylist is cool but is very heavy handed and seems to always be overbooked my last visit she stopped doing my hair to start on someone who came after me. I had to wait over an hour for her to start back on my hair I WAS PISSED!!! This is not acceptable especially since I booked in advance. I don’t recommend and I will not be returning since this seems like an very bad poor customer service habit and on top of that she wasn’t apologetic at all. I don’t do business like that nor do I tip for bad services.

I am so glad I did not go into this salon. My review is based on my booking experience and cancellation of my appointment by the stylist Jodie M. I was so happy to find a salon that claimed to have experience with natural hair. I am used to Stylist being scared away by my hair's thickness and length. I thought this experience would be different based on their claims on the website; however it was not. So I booked online with Jodie M. For a 9 AM appointment the Thursday before Christmas.
