I came to Ulta at Hartsdale to get my hair done. I booked it on line and chose Jade. I have to say she did an awesome job. She colored, highlight, cut and blow dry my hair. I can’t lie I was nervous but she was excellent! Before she begins she sits and consults with you on what you like and what do you expect from your hair. It was a wonderful experience! Jade did a wonderful job. I say everyone needs to get their hair done by Jade.

I do not recommend this Ulta salon within this particular Ulta. I had an appointment at 1:45. I got there at 1:40. I waited until 2:15 to be seen by the hairdresser. She said signature haircut which on the website it disclosed that it is suppose to take an hour and a half. She didn’t wash my hair. Just sprayed it down and took an inch off. Put some product on it and left me alone to go to someone else. The whole service took 20 minutes. How is that $77? Then I question how the whole thing was $77 and the hairstylist comes over. She tells me if I couldn’t afford it then just say that and she would recommend cheaper people very loudly in front of everyone in the Ulta. She also said getting your hair done is a privilege, not a necessity. Meanwhile I paid the $77 and left her a tip. How freaki

I will not be going to this location again. I visited yesterday at around 1pm. Quite a few of the staff have a horrible attitude. One female staff was very dismissive and I felt like she did not want to be bothered. She had a nasty attitude and her body language said it all. I asked for a particular fragrance from the showcase and she made me feel like I was bothering her. If that was not all the cashier was even worse. I spent over $300 at this location, and I will never do so again.

I visited this Ulta location recently and had a very uncomfortable experience. From the moment I entered, I was not greeted or asked if I needed help, yet I was watched closely the entire time. When I finally asked to try a specific perfume that was on display, the employee standing in front of it refused to move so I could access the tester. I’ve been a loyal Ulta customer for years and have never felt so unwelcome in a store. The behavior came across as discriminatory and unprofessional. This is by far the worst Ulta location I’ve visited, and the staff’s attitude completely ruined the experience.

Now I understand why this store has a rating of 3.9 stars and a lot of these review aim at the staff that work at the store. I expect when working in retail you are trained to work with people and you have a positive attitude. If you don’t have those qualities then why are you even working in retail. I went in with a friend to buy a few products and were “greeted” by Haylie who off the bat gave the worst attitude. We were told not to smell the oil perfumes by the check out counter in front of everyone on the line as if we were stealing. If this is such a huge deal then put a sign so customers are aware. Apart from that we go to the section where the rollers are so we can actually smell the testers and we are told that we can’t smell them. Why are the rollers at the front of tester column i
