Touch With Intention

Jo is at the very top of my list for bodywork (and I’m picky). They have an intuitive sense of exactly where to focus and are a calming, kind presence. I’ve been seeing them for years and have recommended so many people to them. Oh, and I just had my first facial massage, and it was a 10/10!

A great find! Jo is very kind, and has a calming peaceful energy. They offer unique facial treatments conveniently located in Oakland with easy parking. The studio a really nice change from the med spa vibe, and the buccal face massage, is not something many massage spaces offer. Jo is also very community minded, offering services at different low cost clinics, etc. This makes me happy to support their efforts. Highly recommend if you are looking for lymphatic drainage massage or buccal facial massage.

I’ve had my fair share of massage therapists, but I’m on a personal quest in finding the best of the best (it’s just my thing). No shortcuts, no average experience- just excellence. And, I definitely found a true gem in my area! Jo understands that massage isn’t just about relaxation, it’s about healing. Real healing! My session included cupping, fascial scraping (my first time!), and intentional, thoughtful bodywork that actually made a noticeable difference. I walked in tight and walked out feeling right lol “Touch with Intention” isn’t just a cute phrase - it’s a whole vibe that’s definitely worth experiencing.

I had my first massage facial with Jo about 3 weeks ago and it was absolutely wonderful. Jo's workspace is warm and inviting, and they are really gifted with healing. I've received bodywork from them for a decade and there's no one better.

I feel so lucky to have found Jo! I have been looking for someone with a specialized skillset to help with my TMJ issues. They have exceeded my expectations in every regard. Jo creates a wonderful, cozy, relaxing space and I really look forward to my visits with them. I can’t recommend Jo enough!
