The W Salon

Whitney has been my stylist for almost 20 years, initially at various other salons and now she owns the W Salon. The most attentive, talented, fun, smart, real person and stylist. She is an absolute color expert. Excellent with challenging mens cuts and styling as well. Carries the full kerastase line in the salon which is the best in my opinion. W Salon itself modern, clean, quiet, upscale environment. Have been voted best salon in capital region twice, most recently last year. Whitney and the W Salon earn all the stars!

I visited this Salon for the first time yesterday. Previously, I have just done at home box color to cover my grays. I would typically do a dark brown which would tend to "wash me out" and make me look pale until it faded some, even though medium to dark brown is my natural hair color. Because of this, I chose a golden brown color the last time and it did not cover my grays at all. To avoid damaging my hair, I decided to visit a salon for a professional color fix and came across "The W Salon" which had great reviews. My appointment was with Jen and I cannot say enough good things. From the initial consulation to the actual appointment, Jen listened to exactly what I wanted, was realistic with me about the process, and understood my curly hair, which is ultra important! I love the results

The W Salon is amazing! It is very beautifully decorated and the woman that work there are all super professional and great at what they do. The owner, Whitney, is a master Mixer when it comes to color! She is very knowledgeable about all things hair and definitely the woman to go to for cut, color, style and product advice. The atmosphere in the salon is cool and calming. I always look forward to my appointments with Whitney because I know I will be able to relax, have good conversation and I always leave with amazing looking hair! Everyone should check out this salon!

Whitney is the absolute BEST! I was greeted so warmly at her new salon. Its such a nice atmosphere and she takes such good care of her clients! As usual she transformed my hair, exactly the way I wanted and I love it! I would definitely recommend the salon, and her of course to anyone looking for a stylist!

I’ve been seeing Whitney as my stylist for four years now - there’s no one else that I would trust with my hair! Whitney has always been honest and patient while working with me. She truly cares about her clients’ happiness with the final result and will always offer an honest opinion before just going with an ‘inspo’ photo. The W Salon has the most beautiful aesthetic and all of their staff are friendly. Their staff has adjusted well to navigate the pandemic and has strong safety measures in place. There’s no salon I’d trust more (during this strange pandemic time or otherwise)!
