I was seeking someone new to give me a desperately needed curly cut and saw Kay recommended on a Reddit thread with rave reviews and I'm happy to report I can see why! She was phenomenal! Not only is she skilled in her craft but she's also so friendly, upbeat, personable and a great conversationalist! She was such a bright spot on a gloomy Saturday morning appointment. I had originally booked an appointment for a few weeks later but she had a cancellation and offered me the last minute appointment which I was so grateful for as she knew I had an upcoming trip I wanted to be fresh for. I've been getting curly haircuts for 20 years now and the one I had with Kay at Salon Elysian is the best yet (including that one time I got it cut at Devachan in NYC)! Kay took my grown-out, shapeless curls and transformed them into bouncy, chunky curls that I was able to replicate back at home. She is also such a nice and friendly stylist with a great personality. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Jennifer is AMAZING and everyone at the salon is so welcoming and friendly! I have been with Jennifer for a few years now and she never disappoints. She is always on time, professional, and a master at what she does. I will show her a picture of a hairstyle or color I am going for and I always say "but I trust you, so do whatever you think will look good" and it always exceeds my expectations. She always makes me feel beautiful and like a new woman! The salon is very clean and I feel very safe going there even during a pandemic. I highly recommend Jennifer as a stylist and the whole salon in general. You will not be disappointed.
