Southern Roots Salon

The salon itself is clean, cozy and cute. Sam has cut my hair twice. She listens and does what I ask. She's also kind and personable. It's nice to get a stylist that listens and takes the time to make sure she's doing what you ask. I can't tell you how many times I've not gotten the cut I've asked for in the past.

I don't like writing negative reviews but as this case was so egregious I felt others should know. I had a very bad experience with Erin at this salon. I asked her not to change the color of my hair but only touch up the roots. So I thought it was strange when she started applying a blue paste all over my hair, not just the roots. I asked her what it was and she claimed it was just something to make my hair "shinier", but I found out later blue paste is actually bleach! Now that's a pretty hard thing to imagine would be a total accident but I'll let you draw your own conclusions. She left it on for about 40 minutes, washed it, dried it, and then exclaimed, "Are you ready for the big reveal?". She spun my chair around to watch my reaction in the mirror. My hair was totally platinum

Erin Ruffin is an amazing cosmotologist! She specializes in color & is spot on! Her personality is so uplifting & her compassion for her customers is a very rare trait in today's world!!

I love love love all the girls at Southern Roots! They are all amazing at what they do and are all very friendly and professional! Highly recommend them for all your hair needs!
