Sharkey's Cuts For Kids

On our third cut we had a bad experience which really upset us. However, the owner called me personally and was the most kind, professional, and relatable woman who proved she was a good leader. She had my son come back in the next day with her best stylist to fix the haircut. She also gave my son his next cut complimentary. The stylist Amina was incredible, and made my 2 year old son beam from ear to ear the whole cut. Even though we had one bad experience, the owner made it right, fixed the wrong, and turned our experience into something great. I'm giving Sharkeys a 5 star review, because even though there was one mistake, it was handled beautifully and we will be coming back time and time again! (As long as we get Amina). Make an appointment if you're going on a weekend. It was packed in there!! The cars they sit in have seatbelts and they have buttons which can make noise and make the tires spin. My son loved it. Was $39.99 for the whole first time experience. My son got a photo, balloon🎈, lollipop 🍭, and certificate. Cash only if you want to pay tip. 🏧 Machine if you need cash. Make a reservation and take yo kids!!!

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNG KIDS! We had been there twice. The first time during weekdays to avoid rushing, the second on a weekend. With more than 4 months apart, I have to say my kid received a very mean treat in this place and we are not coming back. From the front desk to the haircut experience, I can tell they did not care about the service or the kid. They were just rushing and getting things done the good or the bad way. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience, my son cried a lot during the process BOTH times even though he loves cars, he was literally crying out loud on these cars because the stylish was not kind, gentle neither empathetic with him. The first time, they even cut him on the back of the ear. Both times, the stylish was more worried on finishing than providing a goo

Amina is the best. She is gentle and kind, does a great cut, and finishes it quickly. After a failed experience elsewhere, we have driven 25 minutes out of our way for the last year+ because of her. Thank you!

Manager needs to get control of these young girls “managing” the front desk. They just sit there and chat with each other, don’t smile at anyone or help the stylists. This is supposed to be a kid friendly environment, with parents that are going through enough just to bring their kids there. Need better front desk attendants who have the right attitude and work ethic. We are going to look for another location.
