Gunston Massage

I hate that I have to leave this review because I’ve never had anything negative to say about this spa. I’ve always loved getting massages here. So much so that I was expecting to get 50% off my sixth massage with their rewards stamp card. When I tried to use it at the end of the massage, she called the owner, Kristy and she told me that the stamp card is for somewhere else even though I got it from their location and it has their phone number and address and they signed it each time I got a massage there LOL. There’s plenty of massage places in northern Virginia. I hate to go because the messages ARE GREAT but I won’t support dishonest business.

Cindy’s expert massage turned me into a new person. She quickly found the sources of pain and adapted her techniques to help my upper back muscles release and stop hurting. I upgraded to a 90-minute massage with hot stones and stretching. It was worth it. Very high quality, precision healing. I feel great, I hurt way less, I am even breathing better. Comfortable and safe environment. There was no wait. This place is a gem.

I’ve been to Gunston Massage over two dozen times in the past couple of years and have had mostly great experiences, leaving feeling much better than before. I especially love seeing Joy or Herry, who give an incredible massage. There was one instance where I didn’t like the massage technique of a certain therapist, but Gunston was kind and understanding, and made sure I got scheduled with someone else. They’re also very reasonably priced, and their suite is always clean and welcoming.

I had the most wonderful and relaxing experience here. By far one of the best massage sessions I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a few good places in the area, but this place is the best. Tina is amazing she really listened to my problematic areas. I came out of my session feeling totally relaxed and pain free. Looks like I found my go to massage place.

This review is on a specific therapist. The first time I saw Tina, I did not enjoy the massage at all and I made note of it so that I avoid seeing her the next time. However, I decided to give her another chance and I have confirmed that I will not see her again. She kept checking her phone during the massage, she also kept hitting my bone, and her technique was so uneven. She would forgot to massage certain areas on the other side because she was too focused on checking her phone. If you get a massage at Gunston Massage, I would recommended seeing another massage therapist who are wonderful.
