After five years of having locs, my son confidently told me that he was ready for the big chop. Being a long time client of Gerald aka Glass the Barber, I knew who I could entrust to take care of the job. While receiving a haircut, I discussed my son’s plans with Gerald and he confirmed that he could complete the task (not all barbers are trained and/or willing to do this). I immediately booked an appointment and found joy in my son being so excited for his “transformation!” On the day of his appointment, we arrived with a gallon size freezer bag to store my son’s locs (just in case he wants to have them installed in the future). Love the shop. Take my son there so he can have a male experience. My son is shy, but the guys here are very welcoming. They do a great job cutting his hair the way he likes and the lines look great!

I took my son to see Gerry for the first time at this location and we weren’t disappointed. When we arrived, Gerry was very friendly and ready for our appointment. He joked around and made my son feel very comfortable. The hair cut was also exactly what we asked for. The shop is very clean and inviting. There are two TVs with sport playing, which my son enjoyed. We are definitely coming back. I would recommend this barber shop to friends and family.

Best Barbers in Elk Grove really in Sac County hands down!!! These barbers care about their clientele and pay attention to everything. Walk ins are welcome but the service is so great their almost always booked so try your best for an appointment! I’ve been to several barber shops being i grew up in Sac, once this location opened earlier this year I’ve never looked for another barber again. This studio is open to all. Every barber is talented and cuts any type of hair from any ethnicity. What I really love is the multicultural selection of barbers!!!! Honestly SMBS deserve 10 stars. Look no further this is the best of the best oh and I forgot to mention their prices are great too unlike other places that will try and charge you 50+ for a cut!!!!
