James does great scissor work and always makes sure you get the cut you want. Has great attention to detail and is always on time. I have straight hair, and he knows how to cut it at any length — from layering and creating flow, to cleaner fades.

I've been looking for a new barber after moving to Elk Grove. I randomly stumbled upon Jimboe when searching on Google Maps and I was not disappointed. His attention to detail, professionalism, and friendliness were great. I appreciated that he asked me how I style by hair and catered my fade to match what I wanted and how my hair naturally grew. I will be going back to him indefinitely.

I was trying to figure out a new hairstyle. I showed Boe a reference photo of a textured fringe with a fade. And he gave me a haircut according to it. He did a good job. He pays good attention to detail and does his best to work according to what you want. And will even make adjustments to fit you better if needed. Overall a good experience and will be returning again in the future.

The studio was clean, well-organized, and had a relaxed, professional vibe. James really knows his craft. He took the time to listen to what my son wanted and offered helpful suggestions. The cut was precise, clean, and exactly what he wanted. Friendly conversation, no rush, and genuine care for making sure he walked out happy. We’ve definitely found our go-to spot!

Jimboe's a very friendly and chill guy that works with you to get the haircut you want. Very professional with his work and it shows. A generous tip would go a long way. Definitely hitting up the homie again and would recommend everyone to give him a shot.
