Queen Nails and Spa

Amazing! I visited Queen Nails & Spa in Clayton yesterday afternoon. I could not ask for better service! Very accommodating and very polite. Huge selection of polish colors to choose from. I will say, while I was there others were being served also when one lady came in (I guess for mani or pedi…my back was to her), the owner acknowledged her arrival and asked her to pick a color. The owner was answering a customer’s phone call at the moment. This customer left cussing for no reason. I heard the entire interaction but could only see the owner who was polite. Every salon I have ever visited tells you to “pick your color” while they prep for the service you want. I really didn’t see a reason for the customer to be rude and leave. I have visited this location twice now. The first was for a full-set for my birthday. I booked the appt and text my nail tech a number of inspo pics and we finally decided on a design. He killed that set and I had to go back when my favorite season came around.... SPOOKY SEASON 👻 Again, same process, I booked the appt and text an inspo pic again and when I tell you.... he SLAYED this set and I couldn't be happier. Pictures will be below.... I will be returning again. The amount of talent and skill behind the need for perfection to make sure they create your nails to the image you had in mind, is one of the things I love about Queen Nails in Clayton. been going for a while and if i had good experience but me and my mom went to go get a pedicure and manicure and spent around 200 just for my moms feet to start peeling a week later. she got 2 acrylic toes and gel and i don’t know what happened hopefully they will see this and fix it.

The pedicure was fine but the manicure is where things went wrong. I got an acrylic fill in with gel polish…or at least that’s what I wanted. The acrylic fill in was too thin and then the guy shaved off just about everything he filled in. I told him I thought it was quite thin but he just dismissed me. The nail polish was applied sloppily and I was done. When I was in my car I noticed my polish was already chipping on one finger so came back to get it fixed. I went to another store and there I noticed my NAIL, actual nail had broken. He had shaved so far down he had actually thinned my nails, forget any acrylic layer! This was my first time here because they were open on a Sunday and they were supposedly cheaper but I’m going to pay to get it redone so it’s ended up being more expensive in
