Positive Image Hair Salon

All I wanted was ashy blonde highlights. The result was this ugly brassy copper tone on my dark brown hair. I paid almost $300 including tips after went a couple of times to get it right. I spoke to manager, Donald to get it fixed. He asked me to come in to fix. To my surprise he charged me again for a bunch of services that I didn’t ask for. And instead of fixing my hair it turned out into an uglier mess that I paid an additional $170 for!! So I ended up paying almost $500 for an ugly look that I have to fix somewhere else. When I tried to call again I was ghosted and didn’t receive a call back!

Dong Le was wonderful. She listened carefully to what had in mind and we both planned the color, highlights, cut and style. It came out perfectly. The salon staff was very nice and attentive. Wonderful experience and I will be bringing my daughter as a customer. I now consider myself a customer for life!

I've been to many hair salons in Fairfax, and Positive Image is the best one. Kind stylists, professional, very talented, and a great value. They usually can get me on the weekends even if last minute. Been going there for two years.

Today, I took a huge risk trying out a new salon and stylist (Sherri). In the past, doing this, I would end up with my hair chopped off and the stylist not listening to my needs. I have long hair and a lot of it, my hair is naturally curly, which can be overwhelming for some people. Not for Sherri. She listened to every single word I said with patience and kindness. She was so spot on following through with what I asked for that it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend Sherri and the overall salon service was impressive!

This salon truly makes me feel beautiful..i love the ambiance of the salon it truly makes me feel like im giving myself a luxury self love day <3 my favorite stylist there is Aliyah! she is so personable and always gives me the right advice about my hair health/preferred style for my face shape! she is truly one of a kind, and working with her truly set the tone of my whole experience i 10/10 would recommend her to anyone and all my friends
