Paris Nails at the Crossing Smithfield

Trish did my acrylic nails. Granted, I was not clear in whether or not I wanted acrylic or hard gel, I ended up doing acrylic. Trish, my nail tech, kept complaining the whole time that my nails were “too long” and it was “taking a long time.” I chose to stay silent for most of the appointment but Trish barely shaped my nails, and kept commenting on how my other nails were “too thick” and she was making them thinner. The nails were lumpy and the french tips were all uneven. Completely unprofessional and I will not be returning. I would like to say that the man working the front desk was very kind and made sure I understood the price difference of acrylic / UV hard gel and made sure I was comfortable with paying the amount it came to. He was great, and I have zero complaints about him.

I will only go to Nina!! She is absolutely amazing. I started going to her back in February when she worked at a different salon. She had nothing but 5 star reviews. Unfortunately that salon closed but she told me she was moving to Paris Nails in Rhode Island. Well I will follow her to the ends of the earth. I now drive an hour to get my Gel X nails done and it's 1000% worth it. She is got a steady hand, is gentle, and pays close attention to detail. Cannot recommend her enough!

I had an appointment with Lily. After being rushed to pick a color, I was told she couldn’t do the design I wanted, which was fine. However, she became annoyed when I didn’t want the style she suggested. The guy owner then moved me to another tech, saying Lily had another appointment and that I didn’t know what I wanted, which was not accurate. I chose to only have the dip removed and leave. Despite the situation, I was still charged. This was my first negative experience here, and I won’t be returning.

Amy did the Frenchies and I believe it was David who did the pink ones . Both Gel-X. The only place I will go to for my nails. They always do so good! Pricey but worth it. They’ll stay on for a full month.

they were extremely rude, wasted an hour of my time and rushed the whole appointment. lily was telling other nails techs i didn’t know what i wanted but every design i showed her she kept saying she wasnt able to do any of them. in the end all they did for me was remove my nails and still charged me $20 LOL. the new owner sucks.
