Moler Barber College

I have been to Moler Barber College 7th St. a few times, first time was a ok experience the young barber did a great job I was impressed with his passion for barbering, the next time that I came the young lady at the front desk was,, rude and didn't have any customer service skills, I paid and was told to just walk to the back and this experience wasn't as great at the first time. I was in Hayward and I saw a Moler B C and stopped for a haircut WOW what a difference experience from the time that I walked in and until I Departed. The lady that carried herself as a manager, made sure to take me to the barber and give instructions and came back to make sure things were right. This location is very professional and treat their clients with care and respect. I have returned many times.On 05/22/

Nothing but a great experience here. You’re not a Guinea pig when you sit in that chair - you’re a client; albeit one of your barbers first. These barbers have a great vibe at this location and nothing beats the $10 price… although I suggest to plan to say thank you for your great cut with a $10 tip on top of it. Huge shout out to Hunter who gave me an awesome haircut!

Going to a barber college is always a gamble, due to the fact that you’ll be getting students cutting your hair, but for the most part always have talented people...not this time. I came in for a fade and beard shape-up. The student proceeded to start cutting the top of my head, even though I wanted the top left alone. He didn’t know how to fade and asked the instructor, who looked at the unfinished fade and wanted to confirm whether or not I wanted to leave it like that...??? The student then blended my fade, but the damage was already done...I now have to get this fixed because my hair is uneven and the cut is awful...no more barber colleges for me!

I have been going to Moler Barber College for my haircuts since the sixties. Over the years, I have rarely had a haircut that wasn't great. The students take their jobs seriously and really make the effort to do a good job. The price is ridiculously low, especially for senior citizens, so I always leave a generous tip. I don't know why more people - both women and men - don't take advantage of this low-cost, excellent service. The staff is very nice and make you feel welcome. There is a new owner, and I hope this college stays open for many years to come. Limited parking is available right outside the front door. You should give it a try for $7.00.

I went here for a hair and beard trim. Was just fantastic. It was clean , quiet and very pleasant. My Barber Mr. Thomas , was very patient, kind and ' Perfecting ' Took his time. Nice ambience, and open till 8'ish. Big plus. .Do go - & support the Students here ....
