Marie's African Hair Braiding

I give Marie's Africa hair braiding two thumbs 👍👍. I've been going to her for three years now and she is the best in Oakland California hand down!

She is nice, however she was like 5-8 mins late for the appointment, I asked her several times for singles and even showed her a picture minutes before doing my hair just to find out she was doing Senegalese twists which i didn't ask for and still charged me $200 for the hairstyle. it's only been two weeks and the twists are loose and unraveling. I'm not sure that I will return here.

I like going to Marie. She is on time and she braids very fast. She isn't talking all on the phone or watching crazy TV or talking your ear off, she does your hair and sends you on your way. Some people think it's weird that she's not super chatty but that's what I prefer, she gets you in and out. She is about her business.

I could talk to her over the Chat function on here showing her the style I want and asking the price, she says to call her (which makes no sense but alright). I call her, explain the style that I already showed her, she starts repeating and yelling to me that she can't tell me the price if she doesn't know how the style I want looks like. She's not very smart.
