Main Street Barber Shop

I have been going here for years. Always a great cut. Plenty of barbers. Always friendly barbers. Great prices.

This is my go through barber shop. I travel all the way from Freeport to King's Park for my haircut there.

Crooks. I didn't see a price list hanging up so I asked the barber for a price on a kid's haircut... Regular haircut, short hair, nothing fancy, no gel, no product, no wash. He quoted me a very high price (in my opinion). I said "oh wow, that's OK, I didn't bring enough money" and tried to walk out. He stopped me and said he will take off $5 if that is OK. I was a little confused but agreed. While he was cutting my son's hair, I noticed the price list peeking out from behind a sliding barn door. I asked him to move the door so I could see the prices. He reluctantly agreed, and the price for a kid's haircut was still $3 cheaper than the $5 he took off (again, only because I said I didn't bring enough money). I've had trouble with my haircut here the past couple times. They did a recent renovation which looks nice enough but the service is kind of slow when a family comes in both Barbers are taking up by the whole family so you might as well just not even wait 45 minutes I waited and I couldn't get a haircut ridiculous. Edit: This family was a huge pain. Mother was nit picking her kids haircuts. I was obviously wait for a looooooong time. So when one guy was finally finished the mother had him "fix" the first kids hair. Then they put another kid in the chair. 2 people walked out before me, I should've cut my losses but I waited. This wasn't a wait ur turn type of thing, this was just bad customer service.
