Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Palo Alto

I’m taking one star off due to the hair wash station experience. For a salon whose core service is hair color, the wash setup should be more thoughtfully designed. While the basins are acceptable, they aren’t very ergonomic, and the water temperature during the wash is consistently unpredictable. It doesn’t seem easy to adjust the temperature or keep it consistent throughout the wash cycle. That said, the hair color itself is of high quality, the self-drying stations are well equipped with styling products, and the staff is very pleasant and professional.

Do not come here! Save your time and go to an actual salon, because the stylists here admitted that they are not even a proper salon. Do not advertise highlights on your website if you actually cannot do it, or make a note that you barely have any colors for people to choose from, so people do not waste their time. They told me they couldn’t do light highlights as if my hair was the problem, but they simply don’t have elite hair skills and lack products as well as competency. They will not answer the phone, so good luck trying to get an appointment with a robot. “Salon” is also unclean as a chunk of a previous clients hair was in my cape/robe. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is the worst “salon” (not even a real salon) I’ve been to and I’ve gone to a salon that’s damaged my hair bef

Horrible depressing place. They burned my skin, they told me one price and I ended up paying much more , also I ended up blow drying my hair by myself because they said I should’ve ask for it previously.with extra charge …. I was there for the first time , how should I know that paying a fortune wouldn’t include blow drying…. Bc they knew if they told all this ditals before I wouldn’t do it Don’t waist yr time and money Worst place ever This review is for Campbell location not Palo Alto one

My first visit to Madison Reed. I made an error on the scheduling, but they were able to work me in. Good consult for the root color. Everyone was very courteous. I’ll be back!

The Palo Alto Salon is amazing! Lydia out does herself. She is a fantastic colorist as well as an amazing leader. Her team is well chosen and very attentive. I loved my hair and I’m hooked. Thank you!!
