Helen came highly recommended, and I’m so glad I made an appointment ASAP for a neck and shoulder massage. Helen has a sweet, calm energy, and is very easy to talk to. She listened to my needs and didn’t make me feel judged for the fact that I have some pretty bad knots and tension. The massage truly felt therapeutic, like something changed in the fascia and muscle fibers. I usually go for medium pressure and sometimes find massage therapists still go too light, but Helen was firm, even using hot stones briefly. I also got a little scalp massage! Despite being right off Piedmont Ave, the studio was very soothing and peaceful with modern decor. I’m telling all my friends about Lunera!

I don’t know what to say. Helen is such a gentle and kind soul. I didn’t expect her to be like the Bruce Lee of massage therapy. There’s no question my body is feeling like jelly now. But unlike any other massage I’ve ever gotten, I felt an infusion of healing chi. I’m guessing most people don’t believe in chi, it’s almost like a spiritual life energy. But I’m sure you will become a believer after one massage with Helen. I was feeling tense and restless before the massage and now, I’m in a floating bliss of healing energy. Not only that, but her business is located on yummy piedmont ave. The building inside is adorable - three rockin women run businesses reside. Each business is top notch and can speak for themselves.

I have had many massage sessions including some expensive spa in US and out of the country. Helen brings in more than just muscle relaxation. She’s delivering a whole healing service. From the second you enter her massage room, you feel calm immediately. Her room is always clean and neat which is very important to me. Her gentle inquiry of what I want to focus for my massage makes me feel like I’m in control of my treatment. If you want to experience an exceptional massage experience, I will definitely recommend giving Helen a try!!!

I had a lovely Signature Therapeutic massage with Helen on Mother's Day. It might just be the best massage I've ever gotten! She gave attention to the areas I needed more work on, while still having time to address the full body, and applied great pressure. I walked away on a cloud. The space was clean and relaxing and she uses non-fragrance body oils that don't feel heavy on the skin.
