I got my nails done 11/8 (dip powder) and they are already lifting and chipping. Looks like it’s been a month instead of 8 days. I will say that they took great care when removing my acrylic and the gentleman was very kind but paying $85 to have nails removed and a dip powder is insanity. I will definitely not be returning since the quality definitely doesn’t match up to the cost.

I love this nail salon! I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and they executed the look perfectly. The customer service is amazing, too. I’ll definitely be a returning customer! * UPDATE * 09/21/2025 Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at the salon yesterday. I came in with a clear reference photo for the shape and length I wanted, but my nails turned out lumpy and wide, nothing like what I requested. When I voiced my concerns, the nail tech attempted to fix them but also blamed me for “not telling her,” even though I had shown a reference picture. I asked if another tech could reshape them, but was told no. I ended up paying $90 for nails I’m really unhappy with. I had hoped this would be my go-to salon, but sadly, I’ll now need to look elsewhere.

I came here almost a month ago and received incredible service and the best acrylic gel set of my LIFE (first picture). Today I asked Lisa to give me a fill and the same style i received last time. I ended up with the ones you see in the second and third pictures. They charged me $100 for a full set (that i didn't ask for and that she ripped off part of my nail in the process resulting in bleeding) but because I didn't like them I asked for a different shape and to shorten the white tip. Lisa proceeding to YELL AT and argue with me that she will file them but will not change the tips even when i wanted to pay her to do so. Horrible customer service and terrible nails. Im very upset. LONG REVIEW... WORTH THE READ. I am FURIOUS! I was getting my nails done 12/11 and saw the videos for hair services. I decided on the spot to get my hair highlighted. My hair was highlighted, washed, straightened and styled (it was NOT cheap) and looked relatively nice when I left. Later that evening, I parted my hair and noticed areas that looked like the bleach bled over where the foil meets the hair closest to my scalp. I called and spoke with Lisa, she told me to come in and they would fix it for no additional charge since it was their mistake. I couldn't go on 12/12 so the next day 12/13, I went in with straight, nicely styled hair and was planning to run errands after I left. They fixed the mistake (at least as far as I can tell - you'll understand that statement shortly), washed

Lisa's Beauty Center never ever fails me! I have been going there consistently for my manicures since I moved to Berkeley 3 1/2 years ago and is the only place I go to. Angela who does my manicures is lovely, listens and never hurts my fingers which have a disability on my right hand! The designs she picks for me always get heavy compliments from family, friends and mostly from complete strangers! I would rec them over and over and over again!
