The prices here feel unfair and even seem to change based on ethnicity. The stylists clearly don’t know how to properly handle 4C hair, and they often avoid putting it under the dryer—just to turn around and charge $65 for a blowout. On top of that, asking $15 just to clip the ends of medium or short hair is ridiculous. This feels like taking advantage of people with natural hair instead of treating them with care and respect. Do better.

I would not recommend this place, despite being a loyal customer since before the pandemic. I dropped my daughter off at 10:00 AM expecting her to be done by 1:30pm-2pm. She was one of the first two clients of the day. They had washed her hair and placed her under the dryer, but she ended up sitting under it for three hours not because her hair needed that long, but because they decided to start working on two other clients who arrived after her. When I arrived, she was simply waiting, already done with the hairdryer, just sitting there to be blow-dried and flat ironed while others were being prioritized. It became clear that they were taking advantage of the fact that I wasn't there to advocate for her. There was no communication, and my daughter, a soft-spoken 12-year-old, was clearly

I can’t recommend this place enough. They care for natural Black hair really well. The detangling process entails co washing before applying shampoo. Elsa is a great stylist as well. There isn’t a personal touch in terms of building a relationship but the ease of going in and coming out within 2 hours makes up for it.

We drove 200 miles to sit in Leah-Janae’s chair, and it was absolutely worth every mile! After 2 months in a hospital bed, She transformed my daughter’s Sisterlocks into beautifully reconstructed microlocs with such precision and care. Her expertise, professionalism, and passion for her craft truly shine through. The results were excellent—my daughter’s grid is back intact and her locs feel amazing!
