Emily is absolutely fantastic! She installed my loc extensions several months ago, and I’ve never been happier with my hair. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and efficient - fast without ever rushing. For so many of us, our hair is deeply tied to identity and self-expression, and finding someone who honors that is rare. Beware. This loctician plays games with people’s time, money, and hair. My first mistake was trusting the online reviews, TikTok videos, and website. I expected the same quality shown there. My second mistake was trusting her professional judgment. I booked instant locs three months in advance and asked if I was a good candidate, even with thin areas in my crown. She said extra-small locs were fine and approved the hair I purchased. On the day of my appointment, her assistant texted saying she needed to cancel for a doctor’s appointment—despite having months to reschedule. I explained I had a family trip coming and couldn’t cancel. After going back and forth, she agreed to do my hair. The installation was sloppy. The grid was uneven, the locs were bumpy, and hair stuck out at the attach

I recently started my loc journey on 2/7/24 and was initially nervous but I am so glad that I made the commitment and moved forward with it. I had been doing my research on loc extensions as well as providers for the service. I found Privacy Parlor online and I am so grateful that I came across this wonderful business. I reached out to Emily and all of my questions were covered and I booked my appointment with ease. Upon arrival it was a very pleasurable and organized day. Communication was great , the environment had a great vibe and was very clean and you can see the proper systems that she has in place. Mel was amazing and both her and Emily made me feel at home and the nervous feeling that I had quickly went away. My install was seamless and I received so many compliments on my hair
