This was the best experience I had in a shop in a very long time. From the moment I contacted Jay she was very helpful, patient & knowledgeable. We spoke on the phone and she helped me pick out the right hair at the beauty supply store. She took the time to understand that I recently bleached my hair (impulsively) and needed a protective style ASAP as I had an upcoming vacation. She was able to get me scheduled in the next day & took great care of me. When I arrived, she washed my hair & blew it out to do the style. She walked me through the entire process & explained what to do to preserve the style & to protect my hair. She allowed me to look in the mirror as she did my hair (so many people do not do this & it can be awkward to ask). I really appreciated the transparency & honesty & conc

Jay did a wonderful job on my hair. I went in for a sew in take down and resew. She took her time taking the previous sew in out . Detangle my hair before washing it. She also recommended some skincare products for me as she noticed I had some breakout. What I love most was that she listened to what it was that I wanted. She took her time making sure my hair was looking how I wanted it to look. Also, she made my hair look very natural. Her prices are very affordable. She doesn't rush to get you out the door. It was my first time there, but I found my new spot to get my hair done. She also had wonderful conversations, and she made my experience a very pleasant one.

I was first referred to Jay owner of Hair by Nilu Studio for my wedding last August 2018. It was very important to me to find the best hairdresser since I was finally marrying the love of my life!! I needed to be flawless as I walked down the isle! Ladies you already know how important this is. The day before my wedding she installed a beautiful 9A Brazilian lace front- 18-22inches and on my wedding day she came to the hotel and styled my hair..I looked fabulous, felt beautiful and was able to wear my install for 2 solid months before I went back to re-do it.
