La Vie Nails

Today I wanted to do something nice for myself, get my toes painted and liquid gel mani. My toes went great, it wasn’t rushed and overall nice experience. 35 dollars for gel polish is outrageous but I just wanted to do something nice for myself… now my nails? I got shorties and LEE did them, I told him I wanted the length above my thumb nail so short but not TOO short, he cut them the length I wanted, now to the liquid gel, for whatever reason he rushed my nails, flooding my cuticle with the liquid gel, liquid gel running all to the side of my nail beds, then when I would show him what needed to be filed off ( the liquid gel off my cuticle and on the sides of my nail beds ) he seemed to have a issue with fixing my nails BUT he did. This past Friday I went to La Vie nails next to HT. Figured I’d get my fingers and toes done before a weekend away. I’m Absolutely appalled at the unprofessionalism. My toes have clumps under the polish because he guy there was too lazy to fix it, and you can see what my nails looked like. The acrylic was gloved on so insanely badly it stuck my nails to my skin and was just insanely malformed. When I mentioned it being all over my skin, he tried to literally use his nasty dirty nails to separate my skin from the nail and he wasn’t “done yet”. I voiced my concerns and asked him to stop because as he repeatedly tried to continue and my skin was now breaking! I offered to pay for the work that was done and they had the nerve to charge me $35 for my toes that looks awful! Thankfully I went

had a girls day with a friend and we visited this nail salon, and we had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. The salon was clean and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere. My nails turned out perfect, with great attention to detail. I highly recommend this nail salon to anyone looking for top-notch service and beautiful nails! Got an upgraded pedicure. The young guy was finished with me in 25 minutes and didn’t even lotion the bottom of my feet. He also hurt me when he cut my cuticles. Honestly, the service is not worth what they’re charging. There are a couple girls who do a good job, but overall this place is kind of a bust. I rate it on the lower end of “meh”. This place used to be great. I know everyone is struggling and stuff like this is supposed to be a treat. Spend your precious money elsewhere. Makes me sad.

The store is pretty and comfortable. I got a fill in of liquid gel. The end result is fine, there is a little bit of an edge near the cuticles. My tech spoke to her coworker the whole time and didn’t engage with me at all. I don’t need to chat the whole time, but a little human connection is nice. The cost was a little high for a fill in as well. I expected about $50 before tip but it was over $60.
