I found Kaari Braids Studio via a reccomendation from a Reddit post and honestly Manty and Kiera blew ALL of my expectations out of the water. Getting your hair done (in my case Male single braids} is top notch, community focused, white gloves, professional, and family friendly experience. The price point can not be beat! For Male single braids with Kiera, you get the whole shabangabang...Hair wash and deep conditioner (that scrub is next level), Steaming instead of blowdrying (a game changer for me), the parting (geometric - solving for X level of artistry), and that braiding speed??? spectacular. Manty has such a gentle touch. I have a very tender scalp normally but it doesn’t hurt when she braids my hair. I also love the little details she adds like creating triangle sections so the hair will lay naturally. The hair is braided so well that I’m able to wash it every couple of weeks without the braids slipping or looking sloppy. But my favorite part of all are the great conversations about entrepreneurship in Africa and her plans for the future, she really inspires you to step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself.
