I came in to pay for a haircut and The owner told me to come back because he was doing free haircuts and give away bookbags for the community. The cut was immaculate and my son was so pleased and happy and wants to comeback So many compliments.thanks JR!

JR has the purest love for his craft that I’ve ever seen in any barber, his experience speaks for itself. If you ever find yourself in the East Bay and in need of an absolutely clean cut, please go see JR he is worth every second of your time. P.S. Don’t walk in unless you have an entire day to wait, make an appointment. The atmosphere itself is full of community, thanks for the great experience JR.

Don’t respect people time Make sure you call before booking

This guy is my A1 from Day 1. JR been on his MAJOR grind being a single chair shop and ALWAYS having an onslaught of customers. Gotta get there around 6:30am just to be sure that you’ll get cut without being there ALL day waitin your turn. The cuts definitely worth the wait. His Razor line game alone is worth the wait.

The masses pointed me in his direction and His skills is what brought me to the grooming lounge, but the atmosphere is what turned me Into a loyal customer. This is thee absolute ONLY barbershop that I’ve been in Where not only was there very little, but there was ABSOLUTELY NO Gossiping!!! The music was great to pass time by and the fish take was soothing. I recommend you set an appointment.
