Had a fantastic experience with Susan! The salon was professional, clean, affordable, and very personal. Susan gave me tips to take care of my hair better. She even styled it for a very reasonable price! I’m so happy with the result. Best haircut experience I’ve ever had! Attached pictures of my reference picture, the result, and before my hair was cut. Susan exceeded my expectations in every aspect. She took her time to evaluate my hair and listened to how I wanted my hair done. She was very skilled at what she was doing. I love how it turned out. I highly recommend this place!

Don’t go for a cut if you’re a guy. Shampoo before the cut is pretty standard, and she does not do that. Showed her a picture of how I wanted it cut, and the result was very disappointing. Charged an extra $5 to get washed AFTER the cut. I’m new to philadelphia, and the korean salon around the place I lived before (much higher COL than philly) charged less than how much I paid today for much better and meticulous cut. Again, don’t go here if you’re a guy who is particular about getting a haircut.

She apparently doesn’t take appointments for the elderly even though she was told and confirmed through the phone. Proceeded to be rude to the elder all appointment. Poor grandma thought she made a mistake or something, even when she went back to reconcile, she was still rude, even when she tried to pay extra for messed up hair (she didn’t get what she wanted but how could she communicate when the hairdresser was stone-walling her all appointment). I understand you want your business to remain a young and fresh hot spot or something but you cannot confirm an appointment and treat someone this way.

Susan uses the best products when washing and styling. Schedule your appointment with a little extra time as she can be without an assistant. She is good with my hair, and I am not east asian but mostly of europen decent. She will give you her honest opinion and is friendly toward new customers and clientelle.
