Jess Nails

This place is a chop shop. It is not particularly clean, and it has the pungent acrylic/acetone smell of the old-school salons I used to go to in the early 2000s. The workers are not friendly and they are very rushed, even though the place was not busy. I got dip, which I normally do myself. I left with product on my cuticles/skin which is unsafe. Some of the nails are crooked, as well. I chalk that up to the rushed nature of the service. It was relatively cheap and I suppose convenient but I would rather pay more and spend more time getting a service knowing I was leaving with quality work. Nails are a luxury in this economy and at no point did my visit feel luxurious. I would not return.

Second time, second bad outcome. Unless the owner is doing your nails, it will not look good. Today I had gel done. The gel looked lumpy and the process was rushed. I showed the owner and she agreed it didn’t look good. She told me to stay and get another coat, which would be my FIFTH, or new color. I said no thanks. She didn’t minus any dollar amount. She just said I’ll fix it next time. I said no thanks. Not wasting my time or money again.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I requested a manicure/pedicure with no color and the service was awful. My pedicure took 15 min and my nails took about 10. The lady rushed the entire process, didn’t even bother cutting my toe cuticles, give a hot towel or a massage. For my manicure at least I got a hot towel. My toes needed work and I’ve gotten tons of pedicures with no color which lasted about at least 30-35 minutes, my feet don’t even feel clean/taken care of. NEVER GOING BACK

6-20-22. I had an 11:30 am appointment. I arrived there at 11:29 am. I sat down, thinking it would be about a 5-7 minute wait ... based on the fact that the 3 (only!) technicians were doing other customers' nails. Well ... after sitting for 20 minutes AND ASKING TWICE why I had to wait since I had an appointment, the owner, Jess finally responded, and said harshly "you wait, we are very busy! ... I got right up and left!! I had been a customer there for 16 years and I always paid and tipped generously. I will never, ever go back!! I then went straight up the street to Top 2 nail salon ... (it's ALWAYS busy there, and today it was staffed with 6 technicians) -- and after a 10 minute wait, I got a gel manicure, a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. I'm now all set for my oldest grand-daughter

I love both Jess! But my Jess the blonde is the absolute best! I love her! If you’re looking for someone to not just do an amazing job on your nails but a friend or someone to make you laugh, she’s your girl! Highly recommend🩷
