Catalina is the most knowledgeable and skilled massage therapist I have ever met. I have a long history of back trauma through sports, work, and leisure and have a lot of scar tissue built up in my mid to upper back. I also have end stage osteoarthristis in both shoulders which limits my mobility and adds to the stress on my back. Catalina over time has loosened up a lot of my tightness and has cut down on my spasms through various techniques. She traces the source of things back to areas you would not think are even related and educates you on how it all ties in. I am a long-term therapeutic massage client of Catalina's and give her the highest rating. She consistently helps manage my muscle pain and soreness. At the beginning of each session she asks where my pain points and areas of concern are. In addition to focusing on those areas, she explores surrounding areas that are likely contributing to the root cause. She uses multiple techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, stretching, cupping, and graston technique (blading) to relieve my muscle tension.
