The lady who cut my hair was super sweet, but very elderly and took over an hour. Unfortunately, the haircut didn’t turn out well for me. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings because she was so kind. She did give a nice, simple cut to an older woman who seemed happy, so this place might be better suited for seniors wanting a basic style.

Asked lady to trim my hair that was n middle of my back and she cut uneven and it's now up to my shoulders she still changed full amount don't recommen going there at ALL place SUCKS LADY TO DAM OLD TO BE CUTTING HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't recommend the old lady she doesn't know what one inch means so now I'm w a uneven hair cut out 26$ and she called me a lier like I don't know how long my dam hair was

I’ve been going to Creative Hair One for over 12 years. My dear Mom had also gone there. Dean is a gem! The sweetest lady I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing! All the other ladies are wonderful also! Such a cozy, comfy place. Feels like home. By the time I leave I feel great and kinda wish I didn’t have to leave. I’d never go to any other salon! Great atmosphere. I feel comfortable when coming here and the ladies do a great job. Compared to the other salons this one is the best in the Oakland Co. area. I'm happy to finally find a place that I feel at home and does an awesome job on my hair; I'm extremely picky. I also love the prices. Accommodating staff. I'm updating a review from this place. Today was my very 1st visit to Ms.Dean's salon, Creative1. It's another hidden gem in South Lyon. She draws you in with her strong southern welcoming accent, and her hospitality is just as down home southern as her accent.😊 I felt like I've known her forever. Don't let her 80years young fool ya, she's still a hair cutting wizard. She's a bit old school in her technics, but I expected nothing less of this well seasoned Stylist. She listened to what I wanted and went to cutting away while we chewed the fat as the saying goes. When she was done I had the haircut I wanted, like she had been cutting my hair for years.
