can’t say enough good things about my experience at James Mark Salon. From the second I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The energy in the salon is warm, professional, and collaborative. Avery did my hair, with Hailey assisting and James offering input, and it truly felt like I had a full team invested in making sure everything turned out beautifully. They listened carefully, gave thoughtful suggestions, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire appointment. You can tell they care deeply about both their craft and their clients. I walked out feeling refreshed, confident, and so happy with the results. It’s rare to find a place where talent and kindness go hand in hand like this. I’m genuinely excited to go back for my follow-up. Highly, highly recommend.

Tessa at James Mark Salon is amazing! She gets my color right every single time.She really listens and delivers exactly what I’m hoping for. The salon itself is very clean and has such a great vibe. James, the owner, is always welcoming and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. Highly recommend!

Honestly, this salon is the friendliest and consistently quality in sacramento. I always hit up this place, especially Lilly :D, when I need a trim and blow out. Since moving to the Bay, I always make time for a trip back to Sac because they know exactly what I need and I’ll continue to come through for their other hair care services!

Lily did such an amazing job with my haircut! I have thick wavy hair that has a tendency to become frizzy, and she was able to manage it beautifully and style my hair so that the frizz is now under control and my hair feels so much healthier! She did long layers with face framing chin length bangs, I love the cut!
