Image Spectrum

Elaine of Image Spectrum is fabulous! She is known for doing excellent color and I get many compliments every time I get my hair done. I have referred at least 6 people who have been very happy with the results. I have naturally curly hair which she’s been cutting since 1975! I would highly recommend Elaine to anyone!

Totally agree that Elaine at Image Spectrum is the best at getting hair color exactly right. Hard to do well, but Elaine manages it easily. Very clear communicator. She asks every visit what worked/what didn't with my cut and color - and adjusts her approach if needed (rarely-and usually because I have changed what I want). Always on time or close to it. A great neighborhood salon. I happily pay a bridge toll to come to see her.

I've been getting my hair cut by Elaine for over 30 years. Time and again, she will give you a hair cut that looks great and stays looking great. Having recently moved backed to the Bay from Chicago and having to try different stylists there, I have gained even more appreciation for her ability to not only give a good cut, but one that you don't need to come back for in a couple of weeks to maintain. My wife has started going to her also, and has found that she not only can get great cuts there, but also incredible dye jobs (she recently got strips of her hair dyed with stripes which gives a really interesting appearance.)

Elaine has been cutting my hair for decades. She gives me a fabulous cut, taking time to shape and style it as well as to compensate for a couple of pesky waves in my otherwise straight hair. She always begins, "Tell me about this last haircut." She's given me advice on hair care products and tips for blow drying my hair. I can't imagine going to anyone else.

Elaine is an artistic master. She worked with my mom’s thin hair and she has worked wonders with my hair especially after chemo when it came back curly and slowly became wavy. I drive from SF because she is so talented and really thoughtful.
