If you are looking for good braids/ Cornrows like on social media don’t go there. It’s an old school hair salon but when I was there the short hair cuts styles that I seen was nice if you want pixie cuts Or Shortcuts go not for braids/cornrows .

I had an 11:30am appointment with Kelvin. I signed in and their was a lady who sits at the first chair to the left that acknowledged me and asked me who was there to be serviced by and I told her I have an 11:30 appointment with Kelvin. There was another young lady waiting before me who was also waiting for him. The worker who acknowledged me said she would let him know I’m here. During my wait there was a heavy set young lady who came in maybe around 12:30 ish who told the receptionist she was here to be serviced by Kelvin. I believe she had an appointment as well. Note that this receptionist who she spoke to was different than the lady who acknowledged me. The receptionist got up and told Kelvin the heavy set girl was here for him. I had a horrible experience here. I came here to get my hair cornrowed. The stylist cornrowed my hair so tight that little bumps formed at my edges. I informed her of this and she acted like she didn't want to fix the problem. I went back the next day. The stylist had an attitude as if I was a nuisance. My scalp was so sore that she had to take the style down. When I returned, the owner of the salon told the stylist to charge me if she washed my hair. I was not informed that I would be charged prior to returning. I was flabbergasted. The stylist used the blow dryer on my UNWASHED hair. My hair should have been washed for health and sanitary purposes! The other stylists will be using that blow dryer on other customers' hair. That is disgusting.
