Great Clips

I'm still not sure what happened. I had stopped in at another barber shop that wanted to charge me $120 to blend my fade. And I was like, that's crazy let me just go to Great clips. I asked when I was getting in the chair if she understood what I wanted and had faded black hair before and she said yes yes I got it. She did not get it. She immediately went in and took off All of the hair at my temple. I wanted a blend and I tried to make that so so clear. Thankfully June stepped in and did her best to fix it but I am devastated. I wanted a short look and for it to be made even shorter, there's nothing I can do but wait for it to grow back. I'll just spend $120 next time. And yes I was still charged for the cut. Asked for a mid fade showed a pic and received a chopped up mess. Short and the abruptly long. Zero tapering. The lady didn’t have a clue. They had the nerve to charge me $27.00. WOW! Will not be returning.

I had a really bad experience at this location this afternoon. When it was my turn, I was helped by a female stylist wearing a mask with her hair in a ponytail. From the moment I sat down, there was basically no greeting or communication. She briefly mentioned something about a “fade,” and after I gave a clear answer and showed her a reference photo, she immediately started cutting without confirming anything further. The entire haircut felt extremely rushed — it took no more than five minutes from start to finish. The clippers were used very aggressively, going back and forth with a lot of pressure, which was uncomfortable. Got a great cut from Hanna today. First time in and I will be back. She did a great job for me had recommendations when I wasn't sure what would work.

I went to Great Clips yesterday for a simple haircut and unfortunately had the worst experience. The cut is extremely uneven — when I run my fingers through my hair, I can still find long strands sticking out all over. It looks like no effort was made to ensure the hair was even. On top of that, the stylist didn’t even bother to wet my hair before cutting it and just cut everything dry, which definitely shows in the result. I honestly expected a basic level of care and attention, but this was far from acceptable. Now I need to go somewhere else to fix the haircut I just paid for. Very disappointing and I won’t be returning.
