I recently moved from downtown Chicago and was looking for a barber who could match the quality and attention to detail I was used to — and I’m so glad I found this shop! Orlando absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and professional. Orlando took his time to understand exactly what I wanted, gave great suggestions, and delivered one of the sharpest cuts I’ve had in a long time. You can tell he takes real pride in his craft — the fade was flawless, the lineup was perfect, and the overall experience was top-notch. If you’re new to the area or just looking for a barber who genuinely cares about his clients and their look, I can’t recommend Orlando enough. Definitely worth the trip — even from downtown Chicago!
David did a great job cutting my sons hair 👏🏻.. Carlos did a fantastic job cutting my husbands hair as well, transformed him into a whole new person highly recommend either one. They both take good pride in their work. 10/10 will be coming back
I came all the way from Summit, Illinois just to get a haircut from Orlando at Faded Novelty, and it was absolutely worth it! The shop has a clean, modern vibe and everyone is welcoming. Orlando is a true professional — precise, detailed, and clearly passionate about his craft. He made sure everything was perfect before I left the chair. It’s rare to find that level of skill and care. Definitely worth the trip for the excellent service and top-tier experience!
