UPDATE: 2/10/24 Spoke to the owner who was professional and kind. He wanted to try to salvage the cut but my husband declined. The owner refunded my husband the cost of the cut. I appreciate how this was handled and will move my one star to two. I’m happy that this was resolved. Had a terrible experience! I did not get my hair cut here but my husband did. This is for our wedding at the end of the week keep in mind. 1) my husband showed him a photo for inspiration. I’m aware everyone’s head is different however, he cut his hair extremely short and took over 1hr to simply not even match anything in the photo. I don’t really write reviews about places, but as a man you should never have a half assed haircut. Today I had the pleasure of getting a haircut from Nana and to say he messed me up is an understatement. I am very dissatisfied with my fade, even though the name of this barbershop is “fade legendz”? I asked for a mid-bald fade, and it ended up turning out to be a high bald fade: Thankfully there was another gentleman there that took over and helped straighten it out a little bit, but once Nana got those clippers back in his hands I was done. Also, Nana told me that it costed $40 for hair and beard and when I told him I didn’t want him to touch my beard he still tried charging me $40. Terrible experience and I would definitely recommend saving your money for somewhere with more experienced

My wife found this place to do her locks. After hearing her positive experience, I decided to go. Everybody there was kind and inviting. It was a great atmosphere and you can tell that everybody takes pride in their work. Jonathan gave me a haircut and trimmed my mustache and eyebrows. He was very meticulous and did not rush, unlike some of those big-name places. The charge for my services was surprisingly low for the 45 minutes I spent in the chair. I highly recommend this business to everyone. I know I will certainly be going back.

We have been sending our son to Remi for almost two years and his professionalism, advice, and cutting skills are incredible! He is someone I lean on for expertise and provides a high level of service for our family. I thank Remi for everything he does for us to support our son. I recently moved to Illinois and needed a cut for my wedding event and Anthony, Ant on Booksy, took me on short notice. However, I showed him a photo of what I was looking for and he felt defensive as I was noticing the cut not turning out the way I wanted. He later began to try to disrespect me by asking if “I have been to a barber before” and making it seem like his customers can’t provide feedback. In addition, he told me that I was making the cut take longer because of me having cordial conversation during the process. I told him to leave my beard undone and I’ll fix it myself. He tried to upcharge from the quoted price of $50 to $75 just because he was upset or in his feelings.
