Embracing Wellness by Roxy

I came to Roxy feeling pretty brittle—stressed from work, from life, from all that’s going on in the world—and holding a lot of tension. I'd already had several craniosacral sessions with Roxy that helped enormously with my migraines, but this Dynamic Somatic Touch work was different. The moment she put her hands on me, I could feel the depth of it. Roxy is incredibly intuitive and grounded and is able to meet you exactly where you are. The shift I felt was almost immediate. I left feeling spacious, like possibility had opened up again. A week later, that feeling is still with me. I'll be back soon!

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review for Roxy because she has been my biggest savior during a serious health crisis and is now a weekly part of my chronic illness management. There truly are no words to describe how impactful of a healer Roxy is. I have serious health issues where symptoms vary week to week. No matter what, whether I even tell her, Roxy KNOWS what’s going on. And I always leave with relief. She (unknowingly) has helped me stay off serious medications by keeping my symptoms in check and is also just such a caring, compassionate, fun person that I look forward to seeing her every week. This is definitely not for a spa day massage. This is serious body, nervous system, and lymph work.

I can’t recommend Roxy enough! I came to her in an emergency after overstretching my waist while lifting my baby — the pain was intense and localized to a spot the size of a tennis ball. I could barely get out of bed. Roxy was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled with her lymphatic work. After just a two-hour session, I walked out pain-free and felt like myself again. It was truly a magical experience. Since then, I’ve been trying to come regularly because her work makes such a difference. Her healing touch is remarkable — I always feel so relaxed after our sessions. If you're dealing with pain or tension, don’t wait. Roxy is amazing!

After a long day of travel I really needed healing bodywork and Roxy was able to fit me in with very little notice. It was my first visit to Embracing Wellness and Roxy took a lot of time to craft a session that was deeply healing and tailored to my needs. Roxy is extremely skilled and goes above and beyond.
