Big Island Barbershop

I don’t write reviews very often but was real impressed with Big Island Barber shop! Had a really cool vibe kind of like a tattoo shop/hot rod shop. The young man I think he said his name was Jaden . 20 years old gave me one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had. He paid attention to detail and was very mature and professional for his age. If I lived here on the island this is the place I would be going

Long wait, high prices, average cut. Waiting for over 40 mins with only 2 people ahead of me. When it was my turn I was in and out in 15 mins. Checkout has 35%, 40%, 45% tip suggestions. Which sane person thinks 35% tip is acceptable starting suggestion?

Yeah the previous owners were great 10/10 . Now they charge tooo much for what I can do at home. Used to be i think 15$ now is that. Yup nope. Always a wait . Previous owner was fast, now it's sad. Supercuts is a better deal. Or go with a private hair cutter. My boss did and we go for cheap 20 bucks each not including tips. This place was great, now it's not. Avoid.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES GET YOUR HAIRCUT HERE! I paid 52.00 for a barber fade! I got Buchered, to say the least! They did my haircut in 11 min. That should have been a clue! They had a line 6 people long and were rushing! If you're a tourist, this is not the place! This haircut ruined my vacation! As seen in the pictures provided and receipt! I asked for a skin fade with finger length!

Been here for an hour and 20 minutes waiting to get a haircut and with only 2-3 people ahead of me. Still haven’t gotten my haircut as I have plans for later but this wait caused 4-5 more people to show up waiting as few walked away.
