Customer Reviews
I just love Bella Nails, I have been a loyal customer for years! I started off with San Mateo but found I love Belmont even more. It is always so welcoming and everyone who works there is so nice. They are always clean and it has a very calming presence. I always bring my friends and family so they can have the best experience with me!
This a long overdue review for my nail tech Trina. She is one of my best kept secrets, by far the best nail tech I’ve ever encountered. She has high attention to detail, a perfectionist, EFFICIENT, and a great person to talk to. My nails are literally always perfect, never lumpy, great retention, always finishes in an hour, and great prices. Sadly I’m moving and fear I will not find someone as good as her.
Worst experience ever! Do not recommend! Bad attitude, bad service, can’t even remove gel properly. My phone, my dress and face are covered with flakes. Look at my nails, does it look like I just came back from a nail salon? No wonder there’s no wait time, you can always walk in, nobody goes there.
I came in with a friend today for a French Gel manicure and a pedicure and in 30 years of having my nails done regularly, my experience with Bella Nails was, hands down, the WORST I've ever experienced. They soaked my fingernails in foil for a long time during my pedicure but then when they removed the foil they said I must have had acrylic on my nails. I was surprised by that as I had asked for and thought I received gel at the last place but I guess I didn't. So, ok, what now? The woman didn't seem sure how to get them off so she called the guy at the front desk over and he said they would have to pry them off or soak them off with acetone. I didn't want them pried off so I said well, soak them off with acetone then. I don't know what they had on my fingers before but they just put
staff Ms cathy is a wonderful manicurist. I first came in because i finally had time, with my hands so beat up from 3 busy months of dog coach-care-giving, embarrassed, my chin to my chest, teary, cuticles overgrown, nails jagged. ms Cathy was patient and gentle and attentive to details. she restored my hands to me and me to myself this little bit. so I determinedly came again from southern redwood city, hoping for her good care, and there she was. this time adding gel to help protect the nails. i am daily grateful for Cathy's care. now I have a monthly calendar reminder.
