Bella Afro Hair Braiding

This is my second time getting my hair done at Bella Afro Braiding Salon, and I’m so impressed. The braiders are excellent! I’ve had the pleasure of having Nata and the owner’s daughter braid my hair. She’s done my boho braids both times, and the second set turned out even better than the first. Nata and the owner are incredibly kind, gentle, quick, and pay great attention to detail. They’re also very open to feedback, which I really appreciate. My braids are three weeks old now, and I’ve already washed them. They’re still holding up beautifully. I’m happy to say I’ll be coming back to this shop from now on. ❤️

The braids came out cute but don’t come here thinking you’ll get a full service shampoo and conditioning. It’s like every other braid shop where they are passive with your requests and half listen unless you get louder. I brought my own shampoo products luckily but I practically had to wash my own hair because she wouldn’t scrub my scalp properly. When blow drying she practically pulled all my hair. I’m being very gracious with the 2 stars only because the style came out nicely but let’s see how long it’ll last for my upcoming trip.

I went on early and service was very fast. The braids are very neat. I will be back!

I’ve been going to this shop for 3 years now. The owner always accommodate me and my braids are always perfect. The shop is clean and the girls braid very fast.

I saw this place on instagram from a customers review so I went and showed them a pic of the style they did. As the braider is braiding I notice she’s going up further where the x should be. So I pull my ph out and point to the x saying are you going to do it she said uh huh which tells me she understands. So I realize I’m not getting the x so I just want to know why. I called the lady who was at the front desk assuming that’s Bella and I asked why she didn’t put the X’s in and she proceeded to give me some made up answer that the style cannot be done like that when there’s a whole tic tok video of the style it’s trending! Any way I was ok with that but what I totally didn’t like is I asked for mid back and I got shoulder length. I can’t even put my hair in a decent updo I have brai
