I can’t say enough good things about Yamada. I walked in because it looked like a tranquil and clean nail salon, but I’ve kept coming back monthly over the past year for the meticulous work they do. It’s hard to find a place without jetted tubs and watered down polish that accepts walk ins and doesn’t require you to download an app to make an appointment. They give my basic manicures the same level of care and attention to detail as they would a high maintenance nail art service, and I love it. I’m baffled by other reviews knocking the quality of their cuticle trims. I walk away pampered every time and have never had a negative experience.
Pros: 1. Easy to make appointment with 2. Clean environment Cons: 1. They are very rough when trimming cuticles. I had to tell the tech to stop because it was hurting a lot. My skin became very raw next day as you can see in the photos 2. The gel start to catch my hair within a week, this is a really short life for gel nails 3. When I went back to remove it, they were still very rough when using e-filler. You can see in a photo that my natural nails are damaged and they left a lot of marks on it. Now it will take months for my nails to recover 4. They also tried to push me into getting my nails done again when I simply just want to remove the gel. I was being very clear my nails need a break (from all the damage they have done) Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it going here unless you do
Ive been to this nail salon 3 times now. I thought I had found a place I liked but this time Im disappointed. I got the regular polish mani/pedi at 230pm and by 9am the next day, my manicure had already chipped. I understand regular polish doesn't last long but not lasting even 24 hours is a huge let down. As far as my pedicure goes, I thought it was great until my left big toenail started aching while I was at work the next morning after getting the pedicure. Upon coming home and examining it, I realized I had a pretty big cut from the cuticle cutters. Considering I paid $120 ($100 price with a $20 tip), Im very disappointed. Unfortunately I wont be back to this nail salon.
I came in on a Monday evening for “Wicked” musical theme nail art. And a pedicure. They NAILED it 🤓. I’m obsessed 🤩. It was a quiet, calm, and clean salon. I highly recommend Yamada Nail.🩷💚
This is such a great nail salon! They are so precise and pay so much attention to detail! As a person who is not gentle with their nails these manicures last me a month or more! Highly recommend!!
