WeWork Office Space & Coworking

I absolutely love this WeWork location. It is perfect for commuters, with the BART station just steps away and plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff is always welcoming and extremely helpful. I also appreciate the effort they put into hosting weekly community events, which really help you feel connected in a coworking space. Highly recommend!

Visited 3-5x co-working spaces in Berkeley / Albany area and there wasn't a real competition to WeWork, especially for a private office. The amenities are great, the staff is stupendous, and the location is tip top. Dog and bicycle friendly to boot!

I’ve been paying $339/month at WeWork Berkeley and the experience has been disappointing to say the least. When I signed up, the quiet space on the 5th floor was a huge part of why I joined — it was presented as part of the membership. Now they’ve leased out that entire section, which is more than half the usable space for members. If I’d locked into a yearly plan, I’d be furious. On top of that, service is sloppy: staff often late, amenities (like the drinks on tap) regularly empty, and the overall value just keeps shrinking. This feels misleading — you think you’re buying access to one thing, then they take it away without adjusting the price. For $339/month, this is unacceptable. I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere for coworking space.

I absolutely appreciate and admire the positive environment that has always been facilitated and managed by the WeWork staff in Berkeley. I have been a WeWork member for a decade, starting out of their East London location(s), and the Berkeley WeWork facility is by far the best with the friendliest and most support crew. I highly recommend. Thank you for your great work!

Great we work location! The quiet area is huge with lots of monitors. The community team are so friendly and host fun events twice a week, they have espresso, coffee and decaf (new, and a great addition for working later in the afternoon). Definitely would reccomend coming here.
