I cannot speak more highly of this wonderful salon! After receiving a few botched cuts from other salons in the area I took the plunge and booked an appointment with salon owner and stylist extraordinaire Rebecca. Although the cost was more than I had previously paid for a haircut, it is WELL worth it for the care, attention to detail, and experience of Salon La Luz. During my first appointment, Rebecca took the time for a thorough hair consultation to understand what I was looking for in a haircut, discuss my normal styling routine, and hair goals for the future. I walked out of the salon that day for once completely in love with my hair! And the first bang trim appointment was on the house which was such a sweet surprise. I love going to Rebecca who always does magic with my hair. She is not only very experienced, she is also very creative and will go above and beyond to find the treatment that is just perfect for your hair. For example, she keeps a log of the different Kerastase Fusio Dose treatment mixtures she uses and will ask for your feedback until she finds the perfect one for you. She has made my damaged old grey hair look like it is 30 years younger and healthier, and also made it stop falling out in the shower, which I am thrilled about!!

I got a haircut from Emily in October 2025. Emily did a beautiful job giving me the shaggy wolf cut I asked for, and asked me many questions about my hair care, routine, type and preferences. I felt very respected both as a client and a trans individual, and I plan on returning for my next hair cut.

Excellent services, calm but hip vibe, friendly staff. Becca is an expert in short hair among other types of cuts. I always walk out smiling, having got exactly what I want.

Rebecca is AMAZING! Listened to me and looked at the pictures of examples I brought in and gave me a super chic cut! She even worked with me so I could donate the hair we cut off (I’d been growing it out for just this purpose). Super excited about my new look!
