I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Laura Gray Fox during an initial intake session for EMDR therapy. Upon disclosing that I was currently seeing another therapist for psychodynamic therapy, Laura immediately told me this was a "red flag" and abruptly ended our session after only about 15 minutes. When I asked for clarification about why my seeing another therapist was an issue, Laura could not provide a clear explanation. She mentioned that I should have disclosed this information during our brief 15-minute phone consultation a month prior. However, I don't recall if I had mentioned it during that call, as it was focused mainly on discussing EMDR and determining if it could be a good fit for me.
